Frugal Tip of the Day

Keep a Price Book

Keeping a price book is vital to saving money at the grocery store. Just take a simple notebook and write down the prices of the items you normally buy. Compare these prices to the generic prices. Divide the price by the ounces and see if the product you buy is the best for you. I save my receipts and jot down prices while in the store. After I get home, I transfer that information to an app called Grocery IQ. It's simple and you can add information easily.
